First Thursday in the Rain

Every 1st Thursday of the Month Downtown Santa Barbara organizes an open house for local and visitors alike. Showcasing artists, restaurants, and historical features. This Thursday we were lucky to be invited to the Lower East studio of Keefrider Woodworking. A mom and pop run by woodworker Jay and his smarty pants (marketing guru) wife, Sirie. Jay is seen above in front of his tool wall. Check out how creative this duo is in the pics below.
Then we migrated to the historical El Presido. There we had a dance lesson, watch a Friar and his quill and sipped complimentary wine under the twinkle lights, admiring adobe architecture.
Last stop before a bite and a glass of wine at Intermezzio, Brasil Arts Cafe hosted an open house for Vada, an academy at Santa Barbara High School. These kids bring such talent to the table.
