I am lucky enough to walk on the beach pretty much every day. One of the scenes I enjoy almost more than the vista of the sparkling sand and glistening ocean, is that of children playing. I love watching the carefree abandon with which they frolic in the sea foam, run wildly up to nowhere, and squeal with delight. They are so unbothered by anything. It is all so simple. They fixate on nothing more than having a whole lot of fun.
Something about this delightful childlike behavior whispers to me. A reminder not to take things too seriously. To take time to play. To be in the moment. To frolic. To squeal and laugh. To love the world around me and enjoy the fun of life.
