Taco Tuesday of the Week: Goa Taco

Taco Tuesday in Santa Barbara is a weekly ritual for my friends and me, it is a celebration, a social event if you must, we take Taco Tuesday very seriously. Santa Barbara's taco scene is a plethora of choices, from taco trucks and small eateries on Milpas Street to great dining spots offering all-you-can-eat tacos on State Street, one place recently caught my attention. In 2014, Duvaldi Marneweck, a South African chef, opened New-York based Goa Taco after years of culinary experience across the world. The menu is an unusual blend of ingredients, from crispy pork belly to lamb served in warm paratha bread, creating new taco experiences.  The company started out as a food stand at Smorgasburg, a famous market in New York and Los Angeles. Goa Taco is a unique experience in this town, make sure to stop by and try their delicious cuisine on your next taco Tuesday adventure.
