Angie is a nationally certified massage therapist who has a wide range of experience working in: Utah ski resorts, a dude ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming (one of the top spas in the country), The Grove Park Inn and Spa in Asheville, North Carolina, a private residence in NYC, and being the Lead Therapist at a Five Star resort in the British Virgin Islands. She studied Thai massage in Chang Mai, Thailand with Master teacher Pichest Boonthume and did her advanced Thai training with Saul David Raye. Angie has also studied Yoga with Paul Dallaghan, Erich Schiffman, Doug Swenson and Seanne Corn. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Henderson State University, Arkansas. Each and every massage is different depending on the client’s specific needs and areas of concern. I combine Thai and therapeutic massage and feel that a firmer more therapeutic massage is better for fixing problem areas. I studied massage in Thailand. It is incredibly therapeutic because it stretches the muscles, restores energy and releases blocked energy lines. I started on the path of healing arts after taking my very first yoga class that inspired me to enter a 200 hour Hatha Yoga training program. I truly enjoy sharing yoga and watching the instant benefits that clients receive through calming the mind, stretching tight muscles and building strength all within one system. In addition to teaching, I wanted to be able to help people even more through massage therapy.
